Beyond not working for our meat, most people now consume far more animal protein and fat that our ancestors ever dreamed of eating. This is especially true of people following high-protein diets that champion fatty animal products over healthy whole grains. The human body isn’t designed to process all of that protein, and the high levels of saturated fat are to blame for the out-of-control rates of obesity, heart disease and diabetes impacting our world today.
If too much animal fat is hurting your body, why would starchy carbohydrates serve you any better? It serves your body better because science has proven that natural foods like whole grains, beans, vegetables, fruits and seeds are disease-fighting foods while fatty, artificial and processed foods are artery-clogging, life-threatening foods.
